If any of you have a social media account and know of previous friends who were on this forum, send a message out and see if we can get old posters to come back help keep the board active. Or even like I did, if you have their email addresses write to them and say hey, we still here just in another place.

I sent a message to each member of our board and left a post in every active thread as well as the moderator thread for the lurkers. That way, everyone knows about this board.

The other thing I just thought about was Twitter and Facebook, keep plugging those each week when we can. I am also in the general discussion group and there are some interesting chats going on there on the front page.
shareThanks, Belle. I think I mentioned twitter to you on our board's private messaging system. We could tweet the URL of the Moviechat forum during busy episode days. People are bound to see it. I don't really use Facebook so I'll leave that one to you lol.
Send me the link to the general discussion please, that way I can pop in to support your efforts. It's weird that I liked PreviouslyTV when it was my 'additional' board but I struggle with it as a main board. It's mostly the configuration. I'm too used to the IMDb format :)

I find that with previously too. I don't like the layout that you cannot start a thread. Very strange. I tend to go in the review episode see what they said about the latest one. I was a bit peeved they started Hangman, thought that was my baby pfft.!

shareWell on the general board we had a plan that's been working. Start posting ten times a day. Go to a board post twice and add a thread to make it look busy. It's working as more are coming and doing the same. So if you want traffic make the board seem alive.
shareIt's a good idea, but I appear to be one of the few who appear's to start new threads, and I don't want to feel I am hogging the board. So if others helped me start new topics it might generate more posters. Don't forget it is holiday time,. so people might not be around or be bothered to come here and post. We have another three weeks until the show is back.
shareI've tweeted directing fans to this site. I think any action will build once we get into new episodes and people are itching to say their bit. My issue right now has to do with tech problems (laptop). So I'm not posting much. (Also unhappy with recent writing and editing.)
But I'd love to see more of our gang back. A few are at PrevTV but many seem to have gone silent.
I think it's because they haven't found anywhere to post where they feel comfortable. It's been a big shock for all of us to settle down and want to post. It does take time to fit into somewhere new and those trying to find this place too. So I bet many are still lurking and will post when they feel ready. It's been a tough time and I think we'll be okay once they find us again. Vee has done a lot of posting to friends and on other boards, so hopefully that might generate more postings. Keep fingers crossed!
