Doing a Marvel re/watch

I have not seen them all, so I decided to start at the beginning and move through.

I almost skipped this one, because it seemed stupid.

It's my favorite.

Doing my own re-watch and just watched Antman last night. I forgot how good it was. I actually found Guardians didn't hold up for me but ant-man did. Michael Douglas was great. Loved the little girl and the friend's stories made the movie.

I'm watching Civil War tonight and that will be the last Marvel movie I actually saw. I got busy with community theater and at the rate the movies came out and WHEN they came out they always corresponded with a show. I ended up falling behind. Especially when I was determined to watch everything in order. I actually look forward to getting to watch the next slew of movies fresh but revisiting all the others have been a blast.

I consider this among the best of the entire run of MCU films to date. It isn't at the very top, but it's firmly ensconced in 9th place on my list.

I'm in the middle of a re-watch too.
Ant-Man is currently # 14/27
I wait until I get the house to myself and then crank up the volume and watch one.
I think it's one of the worst of the MCU bunch.

I always skip this one. Its ridiculous because ants are not anything special. How can an ant give anyone a superpower?

I'm kind of surprised to see so much praise for the movie here, I mean it's okay, but I've always thought if it as one of Marvel's weaker efforts.

I prefer the sequel, which is much more clever, funny, and original.
