More movies like this one???
I just finished watching this little masterpiece and I'm dying to find another one that at least comes close. Any recommendations, anyone?

I don' think anyone has mentioned the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit franchises, and there's also Snow White and the Huntsman.

I would agree on the first Hobbit movies and the second and third to a lesser extent but not really the Lord of the Rings. (I love the Lord of the Rings but I don't really see it as being like stardust)
Snow White and the Huntsman started out strong but fizzled by the end. I don't even blame the actors on that one, it was 100% the script writers.
But I'll add
- Penelope (and I dare you not to fall in love with James MacAvoy's character)
- Ella Enchanted (which is funny since Claire Danes (Yvane in Stardust) is married to Hugh Dancy (Prince Char in Ella Enchanted)
- The Princess Bride
- Mirror, Mirror
- The Chronicles of Narnia
- Labyrinth (it didn't live up to the hype but I enjoyed it)
