Uh sometimes people just name their kids the shorter version of a longer name. I was named Alex, which for a guy is typically short for Alexander. But my true birth name is not Alexander, just Alex.
Yes, Cam is usually short for Cameron.
If you look at the side of the canopy on his jet, I don't think he was short for anything!!!!
