I remember when this movie came out. I'm a huge Bret Ellis fan so I remember being ecstatic. I remember them cutting the vampires from the film
But.. I also remember either a teaser or trailer that had a few shots of a vampire guy. I've never been able to find it. I swear that existed.
It is possible but I have a feeling you’re confusing fragmented memories of the Bryan Metro character with that of the vampire character from the novel. A few of his scenes from the trailers, especially when left to fester in ones’ memory could easily be mistaken for a vampire type character.
I just watched the film and needed to process a few of my thoughts here on moviechat. I’ve seen it a few times, love the acting and atmosphere, I don’t understand the hate. I posted this question on the board but you know how it goes, may not get an answer for a year. Do you know who or what is on the movie poster? Is that a mannequin, if not is there a reference I’m missing?
Well vampire guy is in the movie technically. He's the guy who went to vist and threaten Brad Renfro's character (Jack) I think they cut the rest of his scenes tho.
I'm not sure if it's anyone specifically. I always thought it was just meant to represent the artificiality of there life's in LA. There all just pretty mannequins with nothing below the surface.
Definitely my favorite BEE movie
