If you saw this movie in theaters...

Then you’re part of the problem.

You woke up one day, decided that you’re gonna go see a movie about a Disney Ride, wasted $2.30 on gas to get there, another $10 on a ticket, and then you actually sat there and watched this steaming pile of garbage even though you knew The Rock would be in it, and that he would play himself like he does in everyone of his god damn films.

Shame on you people, shame shame shame!!!

reply

SERIOUSLAY, my theater has the best popcorn, and stuff. Totally worth the expense....

🙄

reply

I have your problem hanging.

reply

Thank you! Somebody needed to say it! If it's from Disney, you automatically know it's going to be anti-art of the worst possible sort. I am proud to say I have never once seen a movie with "The Rock" nor never will. If he's in the cast, that's enough to keep me away! And why does Disney keep trying to force Emily Blunt on us as if she's the Second Coming of Julie Andrews? It's just not happening.

reply

ALSO ENOUGH TO ELIMINATE THE NEED TO HEAR YOUR OPINIONS ON THE MATTER AUTOMATICALLY.🙂

reply

I'm with you in a lot of ways. I only saw it because I accompanied a minor, but oddly enough, I think Dwayne Johnson was the only good thing in the film. He seemed very comfortable inhabiting the role. The rest of it was pretty bad, but I'm not of a mind to trash the whole endeavor. It could have been worse, is how I see it.

reply

Did you see it?? I assume not. I did and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it in my party.

reply

Were you in the company of 5-year-olds when you saw it?

reply

No. Just a few movie-goers looking for a fun escapist ride from a summer flick versus looking for any kind of "art" as you kinda implied.

reply

If you aren't expecting much, I guess it hits the mark.

reply

The only 'problem' I see here is you thinking your personal opinion should apply to everyone.

reply

I'm sorry. The OP has already won. He has articulated what so many of us think about 'The Rock" and Disney.

reply

"what so many of us think"

Any why should your opinion of the movie have any bearing on someone else's opinion of the movie?

"I'm sorry."

You're forgiven.

reply

Lol, Disney is the biggest entertainment conglomerate in America, and the Rock is one of, if not THE biggest box office star today. That pretty much concludes that your "so many of us" doesn't actually equal much.

reply

Aww. Somebody got butthurt because I maligned the anti-art of Disney and The Rock.

reply

I never said anything in support of either of them, in fact you'd probably be surprised to know my true feelings about them, but I'm certainly not so pathetic as to live in denial. I simply presented you with facts. Facts which you failed to counter, I might add. It seems the only person butthurt here is you.

reply

You are correct that the Rock just played himself like he does in every one of his films, but that's no different than Will Smith and I enjoy his movies as well.

I'm happy to be part of the "problem" in this case. Good day.

reply

Go watch Six Degrees of Separation if you want to see Will do something truly different.

reply

Yeah, I do believe Will Smith has more range than people give him credit for. But in general, he tends to play the same basic character in his popular films. I don't have a problem with that.

reply

How would you know it is a "steaming pile of garbage" unless you had seen it? Just guessing because OHNODISNEY?

The Rock is usually the same but he has been different in some movies. Like Pain and Gain, Jumanji, and ... and ... uh that's it. Likable, though.

I guess I understand hating something that you haven't seen. I have not seen the Transformers movies but hold them in contempt. So I guess you have that right. Do you hate food that you have not tasted before?

reply

I’ve never eaten dog shit before but I know it smells real bad and I know where it comes from.

I don’t think it matters what studio would have made a movie about an amusement park ride, but knowing it’s Disney I’m sure it’s slightly woke and has some backwards message given to us at the end.

reply

I don't like Disney much either, but to be fair, the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie was also a Disney film based on a ride and that movie is a lot of fun.

reply

I'll bet you've eaten dog shit before.

reply

Dog shit, like the stuff Fox News spews out? Not a chance young man.

reply

No, like literal dog shit, because beta bitches like you get forced to by alpha males.

reply

Alpha’s don’t bully, they lead. You’d know this if you weren’t a Beta bitch.

reply

Did you just "no I'm not, YOU are" to me? Your smack is just awful! You are terrible at this, and you wouldn't know an alpha if it bent you over and butt fucked you, which we all know has happened.

reply

Funny, it does seem a hunky-dory animal of a flick
