In my view, it makes a movie that is just "decent" seem better than it is.

Yeah, the ending saved a lot, in an otherwise quite ordinary CGI-movie.

I would rate the rest of the film a 7/10, but that ending's easily a 9.

yes the ending is AMAZING!!! ONE OF THE BEST IF NOT THE BEST....
