Why the hell would she blame Skyler for Hanks death? As far as she knows Skyler didn’t turn Walt in because Walt would have killed Holly if she did. I find it rather bitchy of her that she didn’t even offer to take the kids in and left them to rot in the poorhouse.

Yeah, I didn't understand Marie's character at all. Especially didn't get the whole kleptomania thing that was shoved down our throats early on. I didn't get the point of that other than to show us that Hank was married to a criminal and he was ok with it.
shareAgreed. I love this show, but I do think there was some fluff that could have been excised. Marie's klepto arc was one of those.
shareI have to agree. It was an insanely well-written show, with everything seemingly done for a reason. Go read about the changing color of Walt's shirts, for example, as he transitioned into Heisenberg.
But I never really could see where Marie's kleptomania fit into the big story.
