Excellent film but REALLY worried...

..Why the hell didn't I cry!?!
I tear up watching a lot of movies and even though I found this so sad I didn't shed one tear!
Maybe it depends on the mood you're in! Anybody else not actually cry? I feel cold for not bawling!

I thought I told you,
this world is not for you..

I didn't sob ether, though it was probably one of the most traumatizing things I have ever seen

I did get teary, but I didn't cry.

I understand where you're coming from. The ending was just more shocking and maddening, than downright sentimental and saddening. You'd feel more sick to the stomach than to cry.

Well i didn't cry either. I felt most sorry for the Pavel but otherwise i couldn't get into the movie because it felt forced and not believable.

As an example i can give that i find very hard to believe that the camp guards never noticed Bruno speaking to the Shmuel or didn't give a damn that Shmuel was spending so much time near the fence.

Possible but iffy if you ask me.

...and why the hell did I laugh so hard at that ending? Maybe I'm the one that should feel cold.

Because the director couldn't go for the final punch. The end twist should've been devastating to the viewers but it fell before reaching there. In the hands of a better director this could've been a heart wrenching film.

Make a move, Reindeer Games..
