He's pretty much right about everything. Except dragonfire does not kill The Night King or his generals. Jon saw one walk through fire at Hardhome. So using the dragons to go after them first thing would only expose them to being killed with spears.

shareThe dragonfire should have hindered him at least a little bit. Also, he fell on the ground where there were thousands of dragonglass spear tips lying, from killed soldiers, on the ground. Bad planning by D&D. They went for cinematic effects, not for lore-friendly effects.
shareIf dragon fire doesn't hurt them, then why does valerian steel and dragon glass? The whole reason why those weapons are potent against them is because they were forged with dragon fire.

Everyone was focused on how poorly lit the episode was that it deflected from the horrible script.
shareYeah, my theory is that the finished product was actually very well lit, but after seeing how shit the episode was, HBO ordered them to darken it. To use it as a scapegoat of sorts and give people something else to complain about rather than see the real issues.
