DC is an underdog here but I'm rooting for them. I would hate for WB to sell the rights and Disney pick them up. Disney's writing is too family friendly and hokey for these characters. I don't want them treated like marvel characters at all.
shareWB will never sell Batman. That's their money in the bank forever. Even if DCEU crashes and burns, people are always gonna want another Batman movie.
shareThat will never ever happen. If creating an entire Universe goes belly up, Batman has still proved profitable endeavor for Warner Bros, as is Superman. Warner will just keep rebuilding til something works.

Disney has done a WAY better job with Star Wars than Warner's has done with DC!!
DC fans should only hope that someone takes the property away from those hacks, and gives it to someone capable of making decent films. You guys could do a lot worse that Disney, and already have.
No they haven't. Maybe you think Episode 7 or Rogue One are better than The Dark Knight, but I sure as hell don't.
All Disney has done so far as rely upon nostalgia. I see more and more people saying VII wasn't as good in hindsight once they acknowledge how much of a copy it was from the original.
And Rogue One was all the rage, but no one talks about it anymore.
The only upside is that we could get a Marvel and DC crossover. But yeah I would hate to see them Disnefy DC characters.
MCU is very successful, but they've never made (or shown interest in making) a movie the caliber of Superman I,II, Batman 89, TDKT, Man of Steel or BvS.

If the MCU decided to put out stuff like Man of Steel or BVS, that would be a real low for them.
They should focus on doing what's been successful for them.

AT&T acquired DirecTV and is trying to get Time Warner (which means DC) and Disney is trying to get FOX. I am not sure at which point it stops.
