OT: Does anybody like Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy?...

She was good but she wasn't memorable. I liked her way more than Dunst's Mary Jane but for some reason Dunst's Mary Jane was more memorable. I have no explanation why. Probably because the first 2 Spidermen movies were more memorable as a whole.

She was alright. I liked her more than Kirsten Dunst's Mary Jane. I personally had a lot of trouble understanding what Peter saw in her, or why he was so inexplicably in love with her. She didn't seem to have too many likable qualities, at least not after the first movie. If anything Peter was more or less her doormat. I could understand why someone would want a relationship with Emma Stone's Gwen. There were a few parts in the second movie where she was a little irritating (nagging Peter while fighting Electro, the "I break up with you. I break up with you" line, and the fact that she was too much of a Little Miss Perfect at times), but she was easier to handle than MJ in the Raimi trilogy. By the time Peter was jumping after her as she fell to her death for the third climatic battle in a row, I would've decided I'd had enough of her bs at that point and would've just let her go "splat".


