15 Million dollar 3rd Weekend, Offically End The Great WOM talk

lol JLs collapses continues with a Awful 15 Million dollar 3rd weekend....this comes off a Massive 57% drop over Thanksgiving which is completely Absurd and worse than Twilight films....

of course this isnt surprising, NOT 1 single thing about JL Box office or reception suggested JL would have good holds or a healthy box office run, But yet for some reason certain DC fans desperately tried to claim, Word of Mouth was Great for JL and JL was going to have Great Holds(especially over Thanksgiving)....

lol Those claims are officially DEAD...JLs having Awful Holds and Is now guaranteed to make less than 650 Million total

also worth noting Thor 3 once again Had A Great 44% hold....lol Its entirely Possible Thor 3 might make more Next weekend than JL

JL is literally exactly where I said it would be from the 1st friday it opened...You hilariously thought refused to except it and continued making "Spite" thread claiming "Great Holds" were coming from Great WOM....

but Instead JL collapsed just like I said....Will finish under 240 M Domestically Just Like I said and Will finish under 650 M just like I said....

PS nice call on Thor 3 too, It was just last week that you claimed "300 Million Domestically was Dead for Thor 3".....lol

although I must say, I'm kinda disappointed, I think you've gave up, You've been extremely quiet the last week, NO more embarrassing thread claiming JL is doing great, You've kinda just turned into a ghost, which I didnt except, I thought You were just gonna go down with ship and continue making Positive threads no matter how Shameful and Hopeless JLs box office was, But I guess even you had a breaking point where you could no longer defend this movie even out of Spite

More like closer to 17 million than 15 million and 59.7% decline for third weekend unlike Thor's 62%.

Like I said...much closer to 17 million than bill Brown's 15 million and a smaller 3rd weekend drop(59.7%) than Thor's(62%).

I just want to know which kind of imbecile you are. You, forcing to round 16.580 into 17 but stupidly failing (or delibeately ignoring) to round 59.7 into 60.

remember a few days ago you tried to claim JL was easily going to make over 50 Million overseas this weekend, and There I was to tell thats completely absurd and JL would make between 35 to 37 Million Overseas.....

Queen... you need to let go of this "62% third weekend drop" for Thor 3, as if the fact that JL's week three drop being less somehow redeems JL. Simply taking that percentage alone, without looking at the total picture, is simply foolish. Let's look at FACTS.

Percentages alone do not tell the whole story... you have to look at how those percentage relate to the totals. Thor 3 had a VERY good hold from opening to week 2, dropping only 53.5%. This means a large amount of those that were going to see the film saw it in one of the first two weeks. In week 2, Thor 3 brought in $57-million; that is 61% of JL's OPENING. The reason Thor 3 could fall 62% in its third week is because the bar was so high it had room to fall.

To put that into perspective, if you take JL's second and third week COMBINED, the total is only $1-million more than Thor 3's second weekend ALONE. When you take the numbers into account, you tell me what is more concerning, Thor 3 falling 62% from $57-million to $22-million, or JL falling 59% from $41-million to $17 million?

One other, very damaging, factor you are not taking in. Thor 3, in its third week, had to deal with the OPENING of JL... so it is safe to assume that a considerable number of genre fans opted to go to the JL opening, pulling potential dollars form Thor 3. There were NO NEW OPENINGS OF NOTE this weekend; no genre films, no highly anticipated movies; to pull fans away from JL. So again, you tell me what is worse: Thor 3 falling 62% in its third week when competing against a highly anticipated major opening in the same genre, or JL falling 59% in its third week when competing against... nothing.

So... you can keep spouting that 62% number all you like... but when you look in context it is totally meaningless and says nothing about the success of Thor 3 or the failure of JL. You have to take ALL then numbers together in order to tell the full story.
