Lack of chemistry?
Was I the only one to feel that the chemistry and dynamic between Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Hudson just felt unconvincing? They both play the relationship well enough. But there’s a significant lacking of that extra layer of convincing cinematic portrayal that really tells you as a viewer/or at least names you think, that the starring leads must’ve really enjoyed acting together. Clearly got along. And must’ve become actual friends.
Their “friendly” “like of each other” just came off as thin and hollow
