Why did she come back to life after drowning in the water tank?I found that part a bit far fetched.

Yeah. It was kind of lame. Shoehorning in some magic/supernatural lore with the sword and her father or whatever. Pretty silly imo.

I think this was a tribute to dario argento, dark surreal fantasy theme in a horror setting

I think the idea is that she's somehow mystically destined to be the nemesis of Art's evil. Art was resurrected after being killed at the end of the first one. Sienna was resurrected here.
