how many feet is 90 meters?
our American viewers would like to know!
as if anyone from the UK would ever ask that question

One meter is about 39 inches, so...roughly 292.5 feet
shareEntirely plausible 28 years ago.
shareYeah, i was sixteen when these events happened and i quite clearly remember a lot of people asking 'how far's that then'.
In fact even today at the age of 44 if some youngster says to me 'i'm 1.76m tall' i have no idea what that means. I still need feet and inches.
It's not really a question of uk /usa but more a question of older and younger viewers.

uk people still often don't like metres or centigrade
shareBuncha trolls, everybody knows it's thirty yards or 270 feets.
On a side note, I went to the top of the big jump at Lake Placid one summer day.
I was scared stiff looking down that runway. Errr, ski way.
I'm sorry baby, I had to crash that Honda.
