Same appearance/actor for both the Maguire and Holland iterations. I wish that would've been noticed and commented on.

It was noticed, by many people. I laughed when J.K. Simmons appeared at the end of "Far From Home".

I meant commented on within the movie, like if Maguire had seen him on a big TV and been like "Well that's one person that's the same here I guess"

The JJ of the MCU seems like a bigger a**hole than the Raimi one.

Pity we never got to see how the Raimi version would react to Peter Parker being Spider-Man, especially with their history.

Man, can't believe I had to go that many pages back to see this topic, especially given the multiverse focus of the film. Can only chalk it up as a testament of J. K. Simmons's iconic J. J. J. portrayal. I suppose given the infinite variations possible, Jameson could possibly just look and sound exactly like Simmons, and just be more bald in one universe...

I don't think he's that different in sound than anybody that voiced Jameson in previous cartoons.

If JJJ is the same then why not Otto and Norman?? They could've been the same looking and no need for Dr Strange magic multiverse ...

peter has yet to encounter 'his' versions of those characters so why would they have look different if JJJ is the same guy (just bald)

J. Jonah Jameson in Tom Holland's Spider-Man universe really should be somebody else? What I mean that when you really think about it, it doesn't make a lot of sense for JK Simmons to play Holland's version of J. Jonah Jameson when he's already that in Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man universe.

It's just like how Maguire's Spider-Man has his own Gwen Stacy (Bryce Dallas Howard) that's physically different from Andrew Garfield's Gwen (Emma Stone). Holland's May Parker shouldn't look like Rosemary Harris or Sally Field to put things into perspective.
