Not a fun watch

While I get this show satisfies the working class suspicion that the rich are all degenerate, sadistic perverts, this show amounts to nothing much more than a slasher movie--watching characters we barely care for die in 'creative' ways.

MY DAUGHTER LOVED IT...CRIED AT A FEW PARTS TOO...SHE DOES NOT FIT THAT CRITERIA FOR VIEWERS YOU LAID OUT.

reply

YOU'VE COMMITTED A LOGICAL FALLACY CALLED ARGUMENT BY EXAMPLE.

reply

OH...YOU'RE ONE OF THOSE...GO FUCK YOURSELF.🙂

reply

One of those? You mean one of those people who knows the rules of logic and therefore doesn't sound like a complete dumbass? Yes, I'm one of those.

reply

NO...ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO THINK EVERYTHING IS AN ARGUMENT AND THROW AROUND DENTED BRAIN TERMS LIKE "LOGICAL FALLACY" OR "STRAWMAN ARGUMENT"...YOU KNOW...THE NOT QUITE HUMAN NOT QUITE FILTH TROLLS YOU IDENTIFY WITH.

reply

Don't be afraid to improve yourself, Kowalski. I'm hoping you decide to become a better person.

reply

That asshole is one of the lowest trolls on MC. Why are you hoping for such a miracle?

reply

HIGH PRAISE FROM SUCH A LOW PLACE.

reply

Lol 😂

reply

WHY ARE WE YELLING

reply

WE ARE NOT...

reply

THAT'S A LOGICAL FALLACY!

reply

THAT’S AN ARGUMENT BY EXAMPLE!

reply

I disagree. I enjoyed it.

reply

Well good for you!

reply

And terrible for you.

reply

Nah.

reply

I wholeheartedly disagree. Though the death scenes were sometimes gruesome, they were limited to short moments of a much longer whole. The interplay between the characters, and the guesswork by the audience as to where the story was going, was what made it great.

reply

What guesswork? How was it not obvious from the beginning the old man was the person behind the whole thing?

reply

It was, Sandy, but, I mean, look at who posts on this dying site, present company (and a few others) excluded.

reply

Yes, sadly true.

reply

Not only that, it was pedestrian in its writing and uses a formula seen too many times before (the play for your life game).

So, a slasher movie that brings nothing new to the table.

reply

True.
