It's extremely boring and not about space. It's about "feelings'. Don't waste your time

I like space and would watch any projects about it. And I prepared to sit and watch another "space movie". Being existed. And then it was about some sad hobo looking guy who is sad because wife-something-marital-problems. And wife is played by charisma vacuum and personality free Carey Mulligan.

So he is being sad and lonely in this space ship. Constantly having flashbacks to his boring life on earth and about his boring wife. And then some talking spider appears on his ship and they start talking about how sad and miserable Adam Sandler is. Or something. You know - feelings. And talking spider is basically works as his psychologist.

Eventually I started fast-forwarding when I understood that this is whole movie. Nothing will happen. And it kept being the same when I stopped. So I decided to skip to see how it will end. Ending was same boring crap.

If I would be tricked to see this movie in theater then I would be demanding refund. Like that woman who went to see Drive because trailer make it seem like a cool Fast like movie about chase and cars.

Here we have extremely pointless and boring movie about "feelings" of two old charisma free actors. Who is fooling space loving people into thinking this is move about space. They should get sued for it, really. Or at least publicly called out. I re-watched trailer and yes - they try to pretend that it's some mysterious space movie.

And that nice looking poster where we see Spaceman standing in river in woods - another fake out. They want people to look and think that he landed on another planet. But it's just some stupid dream he has about his wife. They spoiled it in the trailer actually.

The trailer made it extremely clear that the space setting will just be a background where the protagonist grapples with their own feelings. If you watched the trailer as you say you did and came away with the conclusion that the focus was going to be on space exploration, the problem is you.

I don't watch full trailers for a long time. Because they spoil whole movie. I press trailer and if I see this is something I'm interested in - I just turn it off before they would spoil me everything. I clicked, saw character floating inside space ship and came on board. At 51 second he says: 'I'm getting interference!" in worrisome tone. That's indication that movie is about person who is long time in space and alone, and something happens and contacts him.

And they said: Director of Chernobyl. And that was very entertaining show.

No, it's not my problem. It's false advertising. And it's not the first time. Take out "Space theme", put those characters on earth - no one would even click on that movie. But they were all like: "Look, Space Movie. He is Alone, Far Away, Some Creature appears on Ship!!!"

Of course it’s this fucking idiot again. The movie went over your head as usual. Loser
