I don't see how this can be a best picture of the year, but ok.

To win one would expect it to be harder.
But it's true, several bland movies have won recently.
That's actually funnier than anything in the movie.

shareThe movie perfectly falls under the category of 'black comedy' and it was superbly done. The screenplay definitely deserves it's nomination. Both the acting & direction were up to the mark. I was expecting Cate Blanchett to be nominated for supporting actress; she was amazing - most of those who saw the movie didn't realize that her character 'Brie' was Cate; she transformed into that role so well !
Very worthy of Best picture nominee ofcourse, may be not so worthy of winning though.
