Utter police ignorance, overconfidence; thus sheer incompetence
Seriously pisses me off, having the luxury of 20/20 hindsight, to watch the Montreal police department having to go through the case, step by step, learning each new detail and related facet upon each detected discovery, despite them having been sent all that relevant information before they'd even started up the case. Weeks in advance. Such an utter ridiculous wasted timeframe, spent on investigating already established evidence.
