I do though want to watch the original. Just like I sought out Wages Of Fear a few years ago after I bought a special edition Sorcerer blu-ray.
Good choice. Wages of Fear (Le Salaire de la Peur). I saw it at a French film festival. One of the best films I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t believe it. But The Sorcerer was good too. In this case, they’re both good. Same with 3:10 to Yuma. In that case, I like the remake. But it’s difficult to find the original if it’s a foreign movie once the remake is US. I’ve tried to find Memory of a Killer to watch again and I couldn’t find it. This Dutch actor who plays the lead hit man is the real deal. Scenes with the prostitute and the little girl are shocking. Enjoy it.
