Ok, people said this show failed...But it had six seasons!

Getting six seasons means failure? Explain.

Obviously someone was watching. And it was on Fox no less, they cancel tv shows if people who act on them sneeze.

Cleveland only lasted four seasons not six & it (most likely) only lasted as long as it did because it was sold into syndication in 2010, a year after it debuted. FOX had to keep it on the air until they created 88 episodes, the minimum amount required for syndication.

I thought the minimum was 100.

Off-network syndication ideally occurs at 100 episodes (five seasons) since it easily allows for 20 weeks of Monday through Friday airings without repeating the same episode but shows can be sold into syndication with 88 episodes (four seasons) & some have been sold with fewer episodes.

4 seasons according to Netflix...

thinking about it, funny how it ran longer than the first cancellation of "family guy" before it got picked up again around 2005 if i got it somewhat right, i just saw the "murray christmas" episode of this as it was featured as bonus material on a special christmas family guy dvd, i think this series has some good roles, i guess all those roles except cleveland got dropped with the series, making perhaps a rare appearance on family guy, the ceiling in this looked funny in the christmas episode, also that is one huge snowman ⛄️, and the christmas song clevaland's son is performing 🎤 was the only time i've heard it performed by someone else than b.b. king, i've listened to king's christmas album every year so it was neat to hear another version, that was a good music bit they put together 🎸, there was another episode i came across also notable for using a johnny cash tune, also family guy has used cash's up beat great "i've been everywhere", in this christmas episode i thought i recognised the voice of louis in another part, also the voice of seth was in it as well as an appearance of herbert from family guy.

she stepped up from the desk,
walkin swaying a dress,
shapes like i never knew you had,
blinded by your heat spreading charm everywhere,
walked past me until i fell off the chair.
