Though 'the end' was just far too cartoony in terms of the characters and fighting styles (guys running on walls, etc). This one was also a bit shorter, but seemed to have the same tone and heart as the original anime.
shareThe filmmaker definitely adapted the anime instead the manga. I kinda disappointed that they don't show his childhood, but I'm very satisfied with the movie.
The only thing that I could criticize is the fact that the actor is way too older to play the teenager kenshin.
