shareStar Wars has traditionally had low diversity and inclusion. These characters have added much needed representation to the Star Wars universe and that’s why I love them so much. Commander DAcy’s lesbian kiss was one of the most powerful moments in the franchise.

Holdo is my fav. The way she handled that Holdo maneuver on a Mon Calamari Cruiser with such grace and pizzazz while flicking her strong feminist dyed hair before punching it into hyperspace to show that any toxic masculinity can be defeated with just a space jump.
Leia is also on top of my list. The only Jedi capable of surviving in space and having the guts to use the force like Superwoman would, just outstanding. I got so existed that I leaked a bit.
I also loved Holdo because she put Poe in his place, Poe was wrong for wanting to know the plan. You should never ask questions and always follow authority.
Eh I didn’t like Leia in the original trilogy because she let Han rub her hands and that slave outfit was very demeaning to her gender. I’m also not a fan of the fact that they didn’t give her anything to do in the final battle in the original. You’d think Carrie would have wanted to empower women.
