The Flash will "erase every movie Zack Snyder has done," pretty much serving as a reset for the DCEU. Apparently, both Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill will be officially done after this film, with Sasha Calle's Supergirl taking over for Superman, Michael Keaton serving as Batman, and Batgirl (Leslie Grace) set to inherit the mantle after her solo HBO Max feature.

No big loss, aside from the Snyder cut they haven't been featured in a film for years. It has been 9 years since Man of Steel. In fact the likes of Aquaman and Shazam have become more popular than these two, which I bet Warner Bros didn't expect.
