This is getting a little convoluted and far fetched.

I just noticed hownos doesn't have 12,000 posts but instead 111000 PLUS. That has to be the site record....

Benicio Del Toro is good and the film establishes the right mood and style, but can't quite overcome its storytelling. It's far too long and many scenes feel unnecessary. There is a lot going on and much of it doesn't work the way it should. The resolution to the mystery feels too convoluted and far fetched and isn't completely satisfactory. 6/10 is my rating.

a number of questions you could ask about the plot.

why didn't the cops get rid off the car?
was sam dealing drugs or were they planted by the cops and will?
the black partner didn't do anything and seems to disappear.
i guess will did the actual killing of summer. i think we see a quick scene of this.
the whole drug planting/house deal. i am not sure how it worked.
did summer confront will about the drug operation?

reply

Yeah, several unanswered questions.

I have no idea why the cops wouldn't get rid of the car. Seems like an obvious thing to do and you would think they would have planned that detail out.
I think the cops and/or Will planted the drugs, but I'm not sure.
Yeah, the partner didn't do much at all and didn't seem necessary.
Not sure who actually killed Summer, if it was Will or Wally.
It was well explained how it actually worked
I don't think she confronted Will. I think she contacted FBI and that is why they killed her.
