rebooted with a white woman...

this is highly racist.... this show will be canceled and rebooted again with a POC.

Some shows are just too good to be rebooted. The Rockford Files was one. This one is another.

reply

What about "The Equalizer"...uhhh..nevermind.

reply

You got that right.

reply

Ug, do people even watch that?

reply

no

reply

I really hope they never reboot or remake Columbo.

reply

It's a revival not a reboot. Wasn't interested until i heard John Larroquette was back. I'll give it a go for him.

reply

As for me.....no Harry.....no Bull.......no thanks!

Revivals/Reboots/Remakes......why can't Hollywood come up with something original?

reply

It was a great cast all around. It's a shame most of them have passed away. I think i read Richard Moll AKA Bull and Marsha Warfield were both asked to return but declined.

Agreed

reply

Marsha has been retired for a long time... I don't get why Moll wouldn't agree to return, he keeps making C class movies... like really bad ones.

reply

And the writers were on strike for more money.

reply

So was Magnum, but they tried.

I watched the first two episodes the other night. My expectations were very low for this (like others have stated here, I'm not a fan of remakes/reboots/etc.).

I liked it a lot better than I thought it would. I had never really seen Melissa Rauch in anything before. I thought she was very good...she's likable and I could buy that she was Judge Stone's daughter. But John Larroquette is (and will be) the "glue" that holds this show together. It was nice to see him acting again...I think he's a fantastic actor and he is indeed the "link" between this original show and reboot.

The only thing I ask is that they need to have Richard Moll and Marsha Warfield back...even if it's just for cameo appearances, they NEED to make an appearance on the reboot. Overall, the reboot isn't perfect...but I do see potential with this and hope that it will continue to get better.

I really enjoyed it. They toned down the Dan Fielding character, but given his age I don't think it's a reach. Kind of nice to have a traditional throwback workplace sitcom on the air again. The structure of the show was always good for having a revolving door of whacky weirdos.
