Plagiarism, pure and simple.

Hunger Games.

It's so transparent. Taken from the film versions of Battle Royale, and Battle Royale 2.

Susanne Collin's only books have been retellings of somebody else's story.

Her first book was "The Underland Chronicles" or Alice in Wonderland USA edition. The second book was "Battle Royale USA".

I heard that her 3rd book series is titled.......

Charlotte and the Sweet Factory

Where eccentric recluse Billy Wanka runs a world-famous sweet factory and Wanka holds a competition to enter his factory, only won by finding an orange ticket in a "Wanka Bar".

Spending her family's last pennies, Charlotte wins finding a ticket inside a Wanka Bar. Only to be approached by the villainous Bertha Slagsworth who wants to buy the ticket in order to steal Wanka's secrets.

Inside the factory Charlotte Prettyfoot, and her grandma lovingly called "Grandma Mo" get to see Billy Wankas workers who are called the Boompah Foompas.

Other characters appear like Galumpus Fat, Johnny Nitflex (who is obsessed with Netflix), Veronica Slut (the youngest person to make $1 million from "Boldly Fans"), and Amber Bogart. They all suffer a shaky cam PG rating demise one by one (although in a different order to the original as Susanne doesn't want to make it too obvious that she's ripping off other people's stories)

In the end, Billy Wanka takes Charlotte on a never-ending escalator ride into the sky. The follow-up book is rumoured to be called "Charlotte and the Great Crystal Escalator"

Sussane is also reportedly working on a 4th book series.

Another original work called "Sally Botter and the Theoretician's Rock".

Catchy title. It's about a young girl called Sally who is whisked off into a magical world of witches and joins a magic school called Bogglewortz.

Expect love triangles between the 3 main characters Sally, Jon Bossley and Harmony Branger. Along with laughs from characters like Rebus Bagglerod, Sillias Slake, and head of the school Alberta Fumblebore.

The evil antagonist is reportedly called Lady Baldervort.
