Terrible actress!

My god the female MI6 lady is a terrible actress. Annoying from start to finish.

reply

Presumably you mean Olivia Colman. You are quite wrong - she was brilliant in her role.

reply

I agree. She was quite good. subtle but strong.

reply

Yes, she was the only realistic Le Carre character in whole movie.

reply

Yes, so terrible that she's been nominated for an Emmy in that role.

reply

The show was also nominated... Lol! Pretty mediocre show if you ask me. I cringed everytime she was im front of the camera.

reply

luckily nobody cares what you think

reply

You obviously cared enough to reply to my post. Thanks

I'm curious to know, what is your idea of a good show? Obviously everyone has different tastes.

As for the actress, Olivia's way of speaking takes some getting used to - I remember when I first watched Broadchurch I did not think she was of the calibre of the other actors. However, now that I am used to it I think she is the best actress in the show and also thought the same in Broadchurch S2 (which as a disappointment anyway).

reply

I've always liked her - I think she's a good actress.

An American here. I remembered her from Broadchurch. Loved her in that, and loved her in this. She's a wonderful actress.

reply

No way she was funny.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

reply

I always enjoy Olivia Coleman, and this was no exception.
