Did Americans invent everything and save the world from everything?

Some of us do, most of us know that that particular way of thinking is inflated. Or at least i'd like to think so.

As I see it, you have two options: 1, don't watch American movies. 2, convince movie makers in your own country to make heroic themed movies about your own nations accomplishments. Complaining about an established tradition that goes back over a century now is just futile.

America was the first nation that ever existed, it was founded by Jesus.

Everything? Don't be silly. We only invented baseball, machine guns, Coca-Cola, and atomic bombs. We did save the world from Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, Communist China, and Stalinist Russia. Not doing quite as well with radical Islam, reality TV, and smartphone addiction, however.

We invented most of the awesome stuff, and yeah, we are good at kicking ass and taking out bad guys too.
