Sorry, no Busta Rhymes, no purchase!

Said nobody ever.

I might be in a minority here, but Halloween: Resurrection isn't that bad. I'd rather watch that than Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers.

Halloween 5 is among my favorites, but I agree with you that Halloween Resurrection wasn’t terrible, and in fact, was slightly better than H20 due to the Haddonfield suburb location, emphasis on Myers house and mythology, and Rick Rosenthal’s (H II) flawless direction.

It’s biggest mistake was that it’s less than serious tone paved the way for the Zombie abominations which are simply too brutal for a civilized society.

By story and character development, I kind of liked Rob Zombie's Halloween II. But it's too much of a gorefest. I know that Halloween movies are supposed to be gory, but um, yeah. It was so gory that it felt like it got to the point of being mindless.

It had no redeemable characters. Why isn’t Loomis allowed to be a good guy? Why was Annie spared only to be butchered? Sheriff Brackett didn’t have to be a broken man eating donuts.

Also, Michael Myers of all people doesn’t need character development. He’s the Shape.

Someone should have been a pillar of strength and virtue if Zombie is going to craft a Haddonfield hellscape. You know your film is trash if utilizing a theoretical scene of President Morgan Freeman ordering a nuclear strike upon this American midwestern town would have made it more uplifting. lmao

Well, i liked it because it felt like it was trying to go in a different direction from the usual. But I'm certainly not saying the movie is without its flaws. Making Dr. Loomis a selfish egoist was kind of stupid, especially considering that he is shown to be very caring for Michael in the first movie. Although in the theatrical cut, he is supposedly not as caring. Still, not good.
