That's....!

BULLSHIT!

lol

reply

How can creatures that are brain dead by definition be TALKING?? That's ridiculous!

Did this happen in the comics?

Also, quite a lot of evolution has to happen before speech is formed - this wouldn't have been such a sudden shock to the group after all these years.

reply

They can't be that brain dead if they're walking around and can detect people in order to attack and try to eat them. I like the evolution because it's taking the show to the next level. Walkers have always had speech since they're human. They remind me of the zombies in "Warm Bodies" now.

There is plenty that I enjoyed about this episode. Judith, Michonne's son, Carroll still a psycho bada**, some nice dialogue, the new characters, Jerry looks like he's been working out..

Best episode in a few seasons.

You don't even realize how ridiculous that sounds, do you?

reply

Apparently not.

Whisperers, huh? Either way, I'm fine with the progress although you'd think they could tell the difference between a rotting body and a live one.

reply

They aren't Walkers there humans called The Whisperers parading around as walkers

reply

This happens in the comics and will be explained. Your objections make sense.

reply

And was it the Whisperers like the commenter above said, or actual walkers talking?

reply

Whisperers

reply

I posted this in reference to Rosita swapping spit with father Chrome Dome...

Yeah, I didn't like that... friggin a hole gets more tail than anyone!!!

When the episode opened and she kissed him like that, I was like: "That's BU:LSHIT!!!!"

Eugene was trying to get some from her too! Friggin dorks!

reply

That scene had me screaming, too.

Although next time you might want to use more words. :)

reply

First Jadis and then Rosita... maybe the whole praying thing really works. Watch him end up banging Maggie next.

reply

We'll find out Michonne's kid is actually his. Showed her what a real man is, after Rick "died".

reply

THAT's WHY THAT KID DON'T LOOK NO SIX YEARS OLD!!!

lol

reply

Ladies can't resist the "all seeing eye" look. Pretty soon, they'll be calling him "Daddy Gabriel", instead of Father.

reply

Daddy, I need to make a "confession". It's been almost an hour since my last "confession". *removes bra*

reply

Daddy Gabriel: "Are you prepared to 'pay the tithe?'"

reply

Ha!..You guys are tripping..
I have to admit that "father" Gabriel and sex never once even entered the darkest corners of my dirty mind.
Now he keeps busy!

And still..they keep Daryl a virgin!

reply

I still think they are going with Daryl being gay, but Merle and their father, and their upbringing, just didn't allow it.

I thought they were going to have Aaron's boyfriend die and then have he and Daryl get together. They still may. Personally, I'd be totally fine with it. I think it would give his character more depth, and explain a lot of his loner/misunderstood tendencies. I'd like to see that, or the Carol situation finally come to fruition.

reply

Nah..sorry but the best guys already are gay..Daryl doesn't need to be gay too. What's left for the women..Gabriel and Jerry?

I've always thought Daryl had a social phobia about it all and never knew how to approach a woman in that way..Maybe a bad experience through Merle and his father making it worse and his own extreme naivete.
I think the closest he ever came to the real world with people in general was after the real world was gone.

But it's possible they may go to the very end and never address it.

reply

I forgot about Jesus. I was about to ask who is, besides Aaron. Still, that's only two. And what if they're not into each other? Or better yet... love triangle! Goin' full soap.

Am I forgetting about other men? I know Tara and some of the Oceanside crew are.

reply

I can't think of hardly any main guys except for The King, Eugene and those mentioned..
There's some on the sidelines but I barely know them or their names..
As far as I'm concerned the hottest are gay..thus we need some hot straight main guys. And Eugene and Gabriel don't cut it.

reply

No, I just meant who are the other guys that are gay, if any?

lol poor Eugene. Can't even get any love from the fans.

Wait a second... you're saying you're not into Gabriel?! I thought every woman was infected with the "one-eye fever". Like the whole walker thing, I thought it was just a matter of time. Like, you're already infected with it, you just don't know it yet.

reply

haha...I'll always appreciate the fact that Gabriel was able to make me stop hating him..
But it's some sad times when he's the best of the lot for Rosita..
And Eugene?
The little goof has not yet been forgiven for being such a weaselly turncoat. Not by me.

reply

Definitely. I said "poor Eugene", but it's really poor Rosita. Daddy Gabriel really is the best choice. Personally, I'd just say fuck it and go do the whole Alexandria Bush People thing with Daryl Brown.

reply

I really like Eugene, but I ,too, have not forgiven him.I find it difficult to trust him now.

reply

Eugene saved literally all of their lives. Alexandria, Hilltop, The Kingdom, all 3 would be extinct if not for Eugene. I think it's time to forgive him.

reply

Maybe...but he betrayed them all for 2 seasons.
And what was worse was those were 2 seasons that really sucked.

It took me a while to forgive Gabriel for his disloyalty

reply

I wouldn't call anything he did a betrayal. He was taken to the Sanctuary against his will, and made the best life he could for himself while there. He was treated with respect, given a position of authority, and was valued as a genuine asset... all things the Alexandrians never gave him, despite him being, by far, one of their most useful members.

And he never hurt anybody. He helped grow food and shit. Even risked his own life to help Gabriel and the doctor escape. Eugene's always been a good dude, just a bit of a coward. He was always good hearted.

reply

I understand that he was frightened out of his mind at first...
I get that bravery is not his forte...but he still slipped to the other side so easily without a moments hesitation....and without skipping a beat he was chanting "I am Negan"
..
That was a little hard to take after knowing he'd watched this guy beat his friends to death very recently.

I just didn't expect it to be so easy for him..
But..hey..they started treating him like a king and it got even easier. Maybe too easy.

Yeah, he finally came around and pulled off an ultimate redemption arc.
But it might take me longer to accept him than it did for him to chant "I am Negan..."

I'd like to see more of what kind of man he is today.

reply

I'm more confused by Aaron's son now from the last episode. Does this mean Aaron is actually Bi? That's more intriguing than the whisperers, LOL.

reply

I believe that was actually Gracie; a baby they found a while back that Aaron basically adopted.

reply

Aaaah sanctuary's baby, right?
I completely forgot about that.
