A much appreciated change/observation from the book!

*Spoiler alert, go figure….*

The Baron’s death scene, yes!!!
In the book his death was underwhelming to say the least, Paul’s sister pricks him with the Gom Jabbar and he dies without a whimper.
But Denis had the insight to give him the violent death that he deserved, such a wonderful change from the book and one that I was very much hoping for!
That being said, I think the best possible demise for the Baron would have been for the Fremen to strip him naked and drag his bloated ass, kicking and screaming, across the desert and left to die/bake/cook in the desert sun, maybe being swarmed by ants to collect his moisture and sweat while eating him alive…..

In the David Lynch film, somehow, after Alia poisoned him, he flew backwards out of the palace and got eaten by a sand worm. An epic death worthy of a filthy fat scum like him. I pity the sandworm.

That was a nice touch as well!
Speaking of the 1984 version, have you seen this?
Closest thing to a director’s cut that we’ll get.
All deleted scenes have been seamlessly edited back into the film.

I'm planning on watching it soon :D It's my fave version of "Dune." It's not perfect, but it has the best actor portrayals of most of the characters.

stfu you fucking retard

alia needs to kill him because this is why alia considerd an abomination by the bene gesserit in the sequal books.

U dumbass, that has nothing to do with it.

Learn to fellate yourself. It’s all you have to look forward to in life.

@DancingintheDark
The second part of your statement is similar to what actually happened.

After he was killed, his body was left in the desert, and the last shot we see of him are of ants crawling around his dead body.

reply

Right you are, and it was a nice touch, although I would have liked to see him suffer the fate of the experience is all.
