What I hate the most of this movie is showing the cruelty of Harkonnens for no reason. That is just demonisation, they are bad just because it is in their nature, they do evil things simply because they are evil.
Not just politicians, the movie directors also think we are dumb. That is just very insulting.
Um...you are aware that this story was using the old-fashioned trope; attractive heroes, ugly villains, right?
Oh by the way, the Velvet Mafia should should be pleased; the Baron Harkonnen is gay. Yeah, that's right, that fat, ugly, disgusting pile of crap is one of you! Representation!
