What happened to the sister?

Maybe I missed it but it´s not confirmed that the sister was killed at the end right? Or are we just supposed to assume it?

They showed her wrapped up in A blanket, cut up, laid out, in front off A dumpster. Presumably, she was raped, then murdered, just like the rest of his victims.

is this true? the version i watched (142 minutes) doesnt have that scene so i didnt know what happened to the sister

Imdb lists it at: Runtime 2 hours 24 minutes so it should be included. Yes, that scene is in the movie (the version that I have - 2:24 mins)

I assumed raped, maybe maimed, but not killed, only because her face wasn't covered.

He didn't kill the dad, either. The idea was to get the agent as worked up as possible, for the killer's revenge on him. Max pain to remember him by. The family members would always be scarred physically and mentally.

I assume that's why the agent involved the killer's family at the end. So they'd be scarred and the killer's last moments would involve begging his family not to kill him.
