They already created a cure in the original series

Inconsistencies In the original series, Wolverine was exposed to the techno-organic virus, and his body created a vaccine.

Same episode they introduced cable.

Cable was introduced in Season 1 in the episodes slave island and the cure. I admit I haven't watched this yet but am disappointed to hear they are redoing stuff already done.

I don't think that was the same virus.

You're referring to the original strain of the Techno-Organic Virus as created by Apocalypse in the Time Fugitives two parter.

Clearly the strain that baby Nathan is exposed to in Fire Made Flesh was created by Mister Sinister.
