I came here expecting to see it being torn to shreds, but... it wasn't. What did I miss?

To me it's got that Back to the Future magic, transporting you to another time, while giving Paris the same treatment Woody gave Manhattan in the movie, Manhattan. It's strange, I've shown this movie to a lot of people, never found a person that didn't end up loving it.

I think the movie is quite magical.
Maybe you're just not a big fan of Paris, the 20's or the artistic people from that time... If you're not, than it's understandble you missed it.
Do you like Woody Allen's movies?
