Will this make 4 Billion ?

Is it possible to achieve?

reply

NO! Simple answer. People aren't spending as much as they used to these days.

reply

That's pushing it.

reply

early estimates are around 7.5 billion.

reply

It might make around 2 billion, in my opinion.

reply

More like 4 million!

reply

3 bil is possible because of chinese and indian markets. 4 billion is pushing it. It all depends how people like it.

reply

Probably not unless it gets Top Gun: Maverick level acclaim. I can see it doing at least a billion, billion and a half.

reply

Not sure. It's been 13 years since Avatar was released and I don't pick up the same buzz about it. Maybe 1-1.5 billion. On the other hand it has been 36 years since Top Gun's release and there is quite a buzz around that and some positive feedback. So I could be wrong.

reply

Tickets prices are the highest they've ever been so I reckon over two billion is possible. The other huge advantage is the coronavirus pandemic is in decline. Had there been no vaccine, Avatar 2 would be in major trouble, forced to go straight to streaming on Disney +. Thankfully the vaccine saved Cameron from a massive box office disaster.

The vaccines saved Hollywood. Forget Marvel superhero films saving it, it's the scientists that developed the vaccines that are the real superheroes!

reply

yup, thank you President Donald J Trump for Operation Warp Speed.

reply

Trump is the best and saved America.
