I gave up on the IMDB Dark Tower board when somebody credible posted a synopsis of the film. It was so far from the source material you couldn't even see the source material any more. Are there any reasons to be cheerful since then? Let me know!

This is gonna flop hard. They keep pushing back the release date, and there's still no trailer! Oh well, what do you expect from a Sony production? They pushed this back to August to move up The Emoji Movie, that tells you about their priorities.

Not only that 666, but the trailer they did release showed more changes. I've read the novel three times and I don't recall Roland walking around a town of falling building or the man in black appearing.
