Will this have a woke spin?

I don't yet know how the warring sides are drawn in this film, but I assume it's down the contemporary right/left political divide. If so, are the leftists in this film portrayed as the sympathetic ones? Are they portrayed as noble idealists? Is the side on the right portrayed as a racist group of hillbilies who sneer at any kid with skin color slightly darker than peach-white? I'm curious to see whether the filmmakers are able to resist the temptation to propagandize or not.

It's not a left vs right type of movie. It is not very political and there isn't much that could be considered "woke".

Oh ok. I heard them talking about it last night on Timcast and they said the film makes it kind of ambiguous, particularly since it's set approximately 20 years in the future.
