How can the guy who was eaten by the troll be Christian? Isn't it un-Christian to lie?
It's a paradox. You can't lie about not being a Christian because the moment you lie you're automatically no longer a Christian.
This would have been a very good film if it wasn't for that ridiculous lapse in logic. It would have made more sense if the character lied about being a Christian when he in fact wasn't.
The again, let nothing stand in the way of an artist and their right to bash Christians, right?
