Marie Osmond quits the show

Marie Osmond has quit the show after just one season. Her reasoning is she wants to spend more time with her family and pursue other projects. No one has been named for her replacement.

Also, her friend John Redmann, executive producer and show runner for the past 10 years, has left the show.

reply

That generally means a firing. Wonder what went wrong.

reply

Yet again the one who should hit the bricks stays. Hopefully they'll get something right for once and hire Brigitte Neilson as her replacement. She's a great choice and doesn't kiss up to Cruella the way the others do.

reply

The excuses she gives are always used when one is fired. Especially when it’s termed “ mutual decision “.

reply

Yep, agree.

I hadn't been watching the show in a long time, but she seemed to have made a good start. She seemed interesting and authentic, which is what I think the show needs. Wonder if something developed that caused her performance to decline.

reply

I haven't watched a full episode of this shit-show ever, I don't think. I've been tuning in on and off for the past few weeks catching reruns (nothing else on during the afternoons I'm free) and it's unbearable. Is there anyone on the show that is down to earth and not phony ? Marie and Osbourne look like they're on loan from a wax museum.

reply

Thank the Lord I don't have to see the revolting horror in your mirror. I'd probably be just as self-loathing, nasty and unfamiliar with humanity and the truth as you are. You are one sad, sad hateful little person, whatever username you choose.

reply

I don't know--his wax museum quip made me laugh out loud. Why are you so protective of these yentas?

reply

What's it to you? But since you asked, if you knew the misogynistic things he's said about women he doesn't like in general under his many prior usernames and socks (the last one was the laughable DoggieDaddy until the Mods rightfully shut it down and this new one will be flushed down the crapper soon) I don't think you'd be laughing. He's a trash bag troll and somebody should check him for his idiocy. So few people with minds of their own do.

reply

I have no idea what this nelstar troll is going on about. Poor thing needs a better hobby than patrolling 'The Talk' forum.

reply

That could be it. That most of them are just too old.

reply

Are 60 something Whoopi Goldberg and 70 something Joy Behar "too old" to be on TV too or are you overlooking them because you were programmed to? 🤔 Guess you'll go back to making posts hardly anyone posts in.

reply

I'm not even thinking age. I find them all so boring and so self-absorbed on the show. None of them have any self-awareness when they speak (and I've only tuned into the show on and off for the past month or so). The conversations are so vapid, you can't help but lose interest and see the visual in front of you - starting with Sharon who looks like she's wearing a death mask. Marie looks like a worn-out drag queen.

reply

The fluff too challenging for your pea brain, Sparky? Stick with the Teletubbies. More your speed. Your obsession with this show crossed over into the insane many moons ago and grows worse. It along with Melania (who you wish you looked like judging by your latest username) own you. What a pathetic way to live. BTW, you have zero room to talk about anyone's looks when that boring, self-absorbed frozen-faced woman you worship Streisand looks like the melted lovechild of Ron Perlman's Beast and Danny Devito's Penguin. She should stick to putting people to sleep with her dull as dishwater muzak and shut up. And you should sludge your equally phony, soulless ass back to the Politics board cesspool and watch the real shit-show "The Spew" while wetting yourself over that bland washed-up ugly ass hag "Babs". All things you were doing before people with actual lives and jobs were forced to stay in their homes.

Wow, new rumors about how Marie got fired:

Apparently Sharon and Sheryl froze her out?

reply

This comes as no surprise at all. I remember when Leah and Holly were fired after season 1, the truth came out that Osborne was behind their firings. It took a while, but their truth was confirmed (even though Osborne denied it in the beginning). Why they keep that hag on the show is beyond me. I watched a few episodes of the new season, and then stopped. Too vapid for me.

reply

Too right

"Too vapid for me."

You have as much substance as a cream puff so I doubt that, Jabba. Why don't you take your dumb dummy Jes' a Moron and go bore someone else with your tired puppet show? Night night! 😁

reply

As someone who does watch the show and doesn't lie about what happened there was a moment a few months ago where Sharon scolded Marie about something (I think it was about the protestors) and Marie profusely apologized both on and off-camera. It was such a weird moment and that might've played a part in why Marie left. I don't know.

reply

If you don't know - why post this ? To stir up shit ?

You are one sad, sad hateful little person, whatever username you choose.

reply

Oops! I forgot talking out of your gargantuan ass and stirring up ish is your thing. My bad. You keep wearing that crown on that plastic Party City wig-wearing empty head of yours, watching and hating with your multiple personalities... and no Movie Chat account(s). Knew it was only a matter of time before your stupid antics got you kicked off the site for good, pee and junk food-soaked muumuu and all. The board may be dead, but it certainly smells better without you. Ta ta, Divine! 😝
