Can it win best picture tonight? Surely its got a better than good chance as was SO well received and made SO much and is recognised as helping cinema back on its feet (Spiderman be like 'wha..?').. Spielbergs gushing endorsement that TG:M 'saved Hollywood's ass' is a good sign too..

I doubt it. It lost PGA and DGA and didn't get nominated for SAG ensemble. It also doesn't have an acting or directing nomination, so it seems unlikely that it would win best picture.

I don't understand the love for this film. It fell below my (already low) expectations.

OTOH, it is the only film I watched last year in the top 100...
