I do hope that it's excellent. It would be a great late-career achievement for Costner and also a great tribute to the westerns of old. As you say, "just good ol' cinema," like we got before everything got politicized and before the inmates started running the asylum that is Hollywood.

It'll be like Wyatt Earp and Open Range. Very slow and long. I like that style but it won't be a barn burner.
