Watched it, thought it was good

It does have strong religious undertones, but so many modern movies. It is a modern retelling of the story of Job. It is described as a sci-fi by some journalist as the application of multiple universes (M-theory) is part of the movie, but I don't agree with that description. it is more a story about faith with a love story, as the connection between Kevin and Molly is palpable. My wife, a hopeless romantic, cried multiple times during the movie. McDonough is superb as always, and Polaha did a great job as well. A chubby Sean Astin is in it as well

All factors were, to me, OK.

McDonough MADE the film, as so many effective villains do.

He's been in a ton of films and TV, but seems nothing where he gets as big a part as this.
