Giving this movie the love it deserves!!!

The movie deserves more respect than people are giving it!!!! The negatives of this movie consists of overly theatrical delivery of lines and cliche feeling look. But once you navigate your way past that you see it for what it is, a GREAT MOVIE. The performance by young Amanda is great and the others performances improve over time when you see there chemistry with one another during different moments. The script is great. The story line is unique. When a movie is about a long lost love reuniting it typically ends with either them two together or one of them dieing. But for them to part ways and for her son to almost die then be saved inadvertently by Dawson's death is original. Just the idea that her long lost love who she was destined to be with is now inside her son who almost became her second child to die is POETIC. Anyway this movie isn't perfect but no movie is. It is in my eyes a solid 7.8
