Just watched Thor: The Dark World, and found it totally pointless. The film just seemed like a random mix of dull characters, and random bits of story haphazardly sequenced. 2/10.

Now, Marvel's comic films are generally crap and mostly enjoyed by people who just need a little eye candy and lots of special effects to be satisfied. Both the Thor movies are even crappier than most everything else Marvel has come up with. Still not the worst film ever, there are some real doozies out there.

Thor 2 was definitely Marvel Studios weakest effort, it was just absolutely completely average, nothing about it felt special, or was even intended to be special, This is the one movie in The MCU that was just a cash grab, I dont think Kevin Feige or Marvel Studios really had a strong idea where to go with this film, and in the end they just through something together in order to cash in on a sequel...
now with that said, Thor 2 isn't a bad film, I can watch it and enjoy it, Its just the defination of average
Thank God we dont have to worry about Thor 3 having the same problem, its clear after todays trailer Thor 3 is going to be fantastic, or at the very least they are trying to make it fantastic

What’s Good: Loki remains the best bad guy in the Marvel universe.
What’s Bad: Dark World attempts to embrace the fantasy elements of its protagonist. Director Alan Taylor was primarily known for his work on TV shows like Game of Thrones. Clearly the intent was to parlay that experience into the Marvel equivalent of a Lord of the Rings-type movie. Unfortunately, Dark World just misses the mark. There are also a couple of character deaths of note, but only the female character remained dead.
Introduced: Some evil elves we are unlikely to ever see again
Verdict: Even the worst movie in the MCU is still pretty dang watchable. Dark World isn’t memorable, but it’s not bad either.
I can probably name a hundred films worse than Dark World. It's not a great movie by any means, but far from the worst ever made.
