I hate New England Accents!
Absolutely awful and annoying. There's a reason it's not used a lot in movies. Watch The Perfect Storm, you're going to want to change the channel once the townies start talking, and it's a good movie!

shareChris Pine either needed to do the accent or drop it, not that weird whatever it was he did. He more or less sounded like himself with a few Bostonian words thrown in here and there (calling the bar a bah).
shareChris did a good job it's not like it's an easy accent to do in the first place. Lots of actors have attempted the accent and have done alot worse than chris.

It is a very difficult accent. Most actors can't even get it down. Pine seemed to more slip in an out of it. He just sounded like himself a lot, and at other times had the accent.
