Great first half but..

after they retrived the apple which was really easy, and then was literally stolen easily by the assassins later on. seriously for such a invaluable item it sure change hand so quickly and without any fighting too.

Yea but the assassins who got it back were hardcore ninjas & the security of the Templars were like rent–a–cop's. They didn't get the apple easy either because the Templars had been after it for hundreds of years.

I thought the film was fine until the very end - it's obvious they were setting up for a sequel, hence the cliffhanger ending - it's almost like an introduction to a TV series.

The problem is.... assassin's creed game series is crappy because it drags on the same old tired story - where essentially nothing happens in terms of plot. If they made a decent film with a beginning and an end, I guess I wouldn't be against a sequel, but as things stand, it looks like they plan or were planning to follow the path set by the game series - where very little happens in each game - lots of action, but nearly no progress in terms of story. That's what I call horrible writing.

Basically, assassin's creed games/film suffer from LOST syndrome - in the sense that they forgot to hire decent writers know what a full arc story looks like. They are good at creating a world and characters, but are utterly inept at writing an actual story.

It indeed looked like a pilot episode of a tv series. Spot on observation!

I'll also agree here. I thought the film was actually kind of enjoyable with action sequences that resembled a Bourne film in a way but then they get to the end and it gets anti-climactic and like they were just trying to set it up for a sequel.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/Um2-B6Gs_QU
